PPA National Degrees, Certification, The National Award, and the ASP Fellowship are exceptions to the MOPPA Maximum Credits.
All submissions for awards are subject to approval for qualification.
Fellow of Photography Degree Program
Statement of Purpose
Individuals who demonstrate exceptional ability in photography and/or in the arts and crafts involved in the production of finished photographs, and who demonstrate exceptional services rendered to the profession of photography, the photographic industry and the Association, shall be recognized by the Professional Photographers Association of Missouri (MOPPA) through the awarding of credits and honors in the manner prescribed by this program.
Awards
To receive PPA of MO Fellowship Award credits, the recipient must be a member in good standing of MOPPA with dues paid in this Association.
Service Awards
1. Service Fellow of Photography
The designation of Service Fellow of Photography shall be awarded to those members who have accumulated a minimum of 25 credits, all of which shall be Service Credits. These service credits must be service for MOPPA. The honoree shall be presented a Bronze medallion on a light purple ribbon to be worn around the neck.
2. Dedicated Service Fellow of Photography shall be awarded to those members who have accumulated a minimum of 50 service credits all of which shall be Service Credits. These service credits must be service for MOPPA. The honoree shall be presented a Bronze medallion on deep purple ribbon to be worn around the neck.3. Silver Service Fellow of Photography
The designation of Silver Service Fellow of Photography shall be awarded to those members who have accumulated a minimum of 75 credits, all of which shall be Service Credits. These service credits must be service for MOPPA. The honoree shall be presented a Silver medallion on a deep purple ribbon to be worn around the neck.
4. Gold Service Fellow of Photography
The designation of Gold Service Fellow of Photography shall be awarded to those members who have accumulated a minimum of 115 credits, all of which shall be Service Credits. These service credits must be service for MOPPA. The honoree shall be presented a Gold medallion on a deep purple ribbon to be worn around the neck.
Print and Service Awards
1. Associate Fellow of Photography
The designation of Fellow of Photography shall be awarded to those members who have accumulated a minimum of 25 credits, 15 of which shall be Service Credits (These service credits must be service for MOPPA) and 10 of which shall be Print Credits. (These print credits are to be awarded for the prints entered in the MOPPA print competitions with the exception of national merits and loan merits-They will still earn credit). The honoree shall be presented a Silver medallion on a gray ribbon to be worn around the neck.
2. Fellow of Photography
The designation of Fellow of Photography shall be awarded to those members that have accumulated a minimum 50 credits, 30 of which shall be Service Credits (These service credits must be service for MOPPA) and 20 of which shall be Print Credits. (These print credits are to be awarded for the prints entered in the MOPPA print competitions with the exception of national merits and loan merits-They will still earn credit). The honoree shall be presented a Silver medallion on a deep purple ribbon to be worn around the neck.
3. Diamond Fellow of Photography
The designation of Diamond Fellow of Photography shall be awarded to those members who have accumulated a minimum of 115 credits, 80 of which shall be Service Credits (These service credits must be service for MOPPA) and 35 of which shall be Print Credits. (These print credits are to be awarded for the prints entered in the MOPPA print competitions with the exception of national merits and loan merits-They will still earn credit). The honoree shall be presented a Gold medallion on a red ribbon to be worn around the neck.
4. Honorary Fellow of Photography
The designation of Honorary Fellow of Photography shall be awarded solely to recognize exceptional service rendered to the photographic profession for MOPPA. This award may be bestowed upon members of the Association and/or other persons meriting such an honor. The recipient must have contributed to and enhanced the image of Professional Photography in the state of Missouri. The awarding of the Honorary Fellow of Photography shall be approved by the Board of Directors.
Past Presidents of MOPPA and Honorary and Advisory Directors of MOPPA are included in this degree. Past Presidents shall be presented a Bronze medallion on a black-and-gold ribbon to be worn around the neck. Honorary and Advisory Directors shall be presented a Bronze medallion on a burgundy ribbon to be worn around the neck.

Individuals who demonstrate exceptional ability in photography and/or in the arts and crafts involved in the production of finished photographs and who demonstrate exceptional services rendered to the profession of photography, the photographic industry, and the Association shall be recognized by the Professional Photographers Association of Missouri (MOPPA) through the awarding of credits and honors in the manner prescribed by this program.
